Web Push FAQs

Do guardians need to install an app?

No. A supported browser can receive Web Push after the guardian explicitly allows it.

Will Web Push replace WhatsApp or SMS?

It is a separate channel. Schools can select communication channels according to their own policy.

Can a guardian turn it off?

Yes. Browser permissions remain under the user’s control and Aiden Campus can revoke the subscription.

Is delivery guaranteed on every device?

No messaging channel can guarantee delivery on every device. Aiden Campus records delivery attempts and channel status so staff can see the available path.
